Description

Garo usually leave their young ones out in the wild for a year in order to toughten up a bit and get them ready to start training. Of course, not everybody is put through this, only those with combat aptitudes do so. Aliku showed those skills so she was put through this test.

However, she wasn't a real Garo, thus, they decided to add another year to her little trip.

When the children are set off they are given weapons that fit their personality and anatomy and a set of clothes. However, they aren't allowed to use their weapons as, well, weapons. If they are in a dangerous situation they need to use other methods to defend themselves. Their weapons are to be used as survival tools. And the outfit they are given is supposed to last them until they return, and aren't allowed to use other thing they may find.

If adult Garos supervise the "training" or they simply rely on the children discipline is unknown. All of them have always made it back home tho.

The first thing a 5 year old Aliku said when she returned to her adoptive village was: "Man, Ah'm hungry. They still serve those fried snappers?"
(Snapper a 1.5 meter tall carnivorous turtle, tough enough to survive a bomb's blast)

Yeh, even a chibiKu didn't give a crap if she was starved to death, faced against animals five times her size (and a few hundred times her weight), wore rags for the last 16 months, and basically broke every single bone in her body and healed them in ways that aren't supposed to heal.... she was just hungry X3

Oh, and Aliku is NOT an elf. If Nintendo has been wrong for the last couple decades, then you can tell them and they can turn Hylians into your nice and loved elves.
